Becoming a Member

At Sterling National Country Club, we have different types of memberships, designed to suit all of our members’ needs.  Scroll down this page to see membership categories.   Memberships include family and individual golf, corporate and our social/pool membership.   Sterling National Country Club is a private club located in one of the premiere settings in Central Massachusetts. Our members enjoy golfing, dining and lounging by the pool with welcoming hospitality and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.

Sterling National Country Club maintains a challenging golf course and an elegant clubhouse with distinctive member and banquet dining areas. Dining is relaxed and comfortable in the 225-seat Sterling Room and its rustic patio overlooking the 18th green. The Duncan Room is perfect for cocktails and conversation. Sandbagger’s Pub offers the perfect setting for socializing after a round of challenging golf.

Sterling National Country Club operates a championship caliber golf course that features a challenging 18-hole, 6,667-yard track featuring 5 sets of tees and 3 combo sets within a 260-acre nature preserve, one of only 10 Audubon Certified Cooperative Sanctuaries in Massachusetts. The golf course has a USGA championship rating of 72.3, a slope rating of 138 with a par of 71. Sterling National is consistently ranked as one of the top golf courses in Massachusetts.

Overlooking the 18th green, our member's grill room provides the perfect atmosphere with attentive service and decadent cuisine after a round of challenging golf.    Come to enjoy our newly renovated grille with indoor and outdoor flat screen televisions, a wrap-around bar with seating for up to seventeen, and an outdoor dining and watch golfer hit their approach shots to the 18th green.

Sterling National Country Club’s emphasis on a fun, family friendly atmosphere is further enhanced by its outdoor pool area featuring a 5-lane lap pool and wading pool complete with fountains and an umbrella waterfall.
